Author & Pagan Conferences - Siân Sibley
|
Sian Sibley is a traditional witch, author, and ecological activist with over 30 years of experience in the craft. Leader of the DragonOak Coven for over three decades, she employs magical practices derived from the Greek magical papyri and plant spirit work, as well as deep ecological ethics. Her work blends science and spirituality, drawing on her academic background – an MSc in Biological Science and an MA in Ecology and Spirituality – to explore how animism and witchcraft can nurture a sustainable, reciprocal relationship with the natural world.
Sian is the author of "Unveiling the Green and Black Paths" and "Green Cathedrals." These books explore the meeting point of magic, ecology, and animist philosophy. Her upcoming works, including "Drinking Tea" and "Herding Spiders," focus on coven leadership and community-based magical practices, as well as “The Slow Fatal Dance,” which explores the different healing paradigms of traditional healing and the use of modern pharmaceutical medicine. |

Deeply rooted in the land, Sian is known for her teachings on plant spirit magic, traditional ritual techniques, and the ethical crafting of magical tools. Through her Patreon, “ Ecological Witchcraft,” she shares courses, workshops, and insights on green spirituality and practical witchcraft. Passionate about reviving and preserving traditional knowledge, Sian encourages witches to build genuine relationships with the land, honour its spirits, and practice magic that heals the environment rather than harming it.
