Dark Botanicals
Lenni George is an active herbalist and potion maker; she grows her own magical plants and has created both a moon garden, dedicated to Goddess energies with connections to the moon such as Diana Eastre, Hekate Hretha and Selene and is based on a respect for older traditions, with her research of lunar months as they were understood in Anglo-Saxon and European cultures, dating back to Bede’s The Reckoning of Time, written in 725. Lenni is currently working on her ‘Dark Botanicals’ Gothic Garden of Poisons and dark and black plants and flowers… growing from seed many of her specimens. In her workshops she takes a wander through the witch’s garden, looks at magical herbs and their uses as well as some of the history and lore relating to magical plants. On the journey she examines the ingredients of flying ointments, and peeks inside what the witch’s store cupboard.
Lou Hotchkiss Knives is a is a teacher, author, witch, lyricist and punk singer. Born in France, she currently lives in Devonshire, UK. She has been featured in several publications and occult anthologies including Women of Babalon, Songs of the Black Flame, Slutcake, the Gloucestershire Poetry Society journal, Muted, Tales from the Tarot and Voices from the Ashes. After 12 years of fronting the Riot Grrrl quatuor Husbands N Knives, she is currently writing and singing for her punk band WAGS to Wytches and performs in the pirate act The Boarding Crew. Her interests include History, poetry, the Tarot, languages, witchcraft, vintage fashion, roses and gazing at beautiful people. She is is a teacher and a translator by day, a punk singer by night and a Witch whatever the weather, she is a devotee of Babalon living in Devon, UK. .

Communing with the Goddess in the 20th Century
This was was a one day practical workshop where participants listen to the wisdom and wonderment of the Goddess and how we can work with her energies today. The activities were making several magical objects, figures, fire and water bowls and amulets to use for personal invocation.
This was a deeply sensitive approach to our own connections with the Goddess where the day culminated by a ceremony where each participants had a unique role to play.

This residential weekend in an English country manor house (centrally located) you will adventure into the amazing world of the Djinn, learning of their history, and going back to source materials to understand the different types of Djinns and their characteristics.
The sessions, led by the amazing Darragh Mason, will provide the inspiration for other sessions where you will paint, draw and write poetry or prose. On the Saturday evening, by the light of the bonfire, we continue into the night with a free GIN bar and tell stories of Djinns past and present.
